Impact Career Programme 2024 Application

Inter Cultural Education (ICE) has been selected to receive funding from Operation Santa Claus, Hong Kong’s major annual charity campaign, to support its new “Impact Career Programme” in partnership with the Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation (AYF).

This transformative programme aims to empower 20 underprivileged yet motivated non-university students aged 18-24 and current HKDSE students through intensive career development workshops, networking activities with diverse communities in Hong Kong, and practical internship experiences.

Objectives:

  • To provide students with intensive career workshops and networking activities
  • To provide a 5-week practice work experience to unlock students’ potential
  • To narrow the “opportunity gap” between socioeconomic groups.

Programme Highlights:

– FREE!
– Recommendation letter for applicants who complete the programme
– Offer internships conducted in both English and Cantonese, ensuring that ethnic minority students can fully participate
– Opportunity to participate in trainings from an experienced Oxford graduate trainer
– Work in renowned institutions such as PolyU Public Design School, HKUST Mental Health Project, and Caritas Labour-Friendly Communities Project.
