What is ICEMUN?
ICE Model United Nations (ICEMUN) is an event organised by Hong Kong students voluntarily, fully supported by Inter Cultural Education (ICE/互文教社). This event offers a comprehensive learning experience on global issues, international relations, and problem-solving.
ICEMUN is an interactive and engaging Model UN conference that provides a platform for individuals of different ages and schools, both local and international, to discuss global topics in a way that resembles formal UN conferences. ICEMUN aims to broaden participants’ knowledge, foster intellectually stimulating discussions, and create a dynamic environment for personal growth and global engagement.
Our endeavour to sustainable development?
The conference shall offer a unique platform to let students gain valuable insights concerning the UNSDGs, notably UNSDG 4, 8, 10, 11, 13 and 16.
What sets ICEMUN apart?
That’s why ICEMUN exists, we wanted to change the narrative of MUN being dominated by international schools and to bring MUN closer to local schools.
In ICEMUN, students will have the opportunity to acquire skills that will have a significant impact on our society.
