Envisioning Hong Kong as a “World City” with cross-culturally competent citizens, Inter Cultural Education (ICE) has been working with schools and universities to strengthen the connection between Hong Kong students and the world at large.

DiverCITY is a student-run non-profit under ICE, rebranded from its previous student programme, namely Global Ambassador Programme (ICEGAP). The year-long programme offers youth internship opportunities through ICE to students who want to run their own student organization to raise awareness on social justice issues through exposure and discussion.

Advocating values of inclusivity and tolerance, DiverCITY is dedicated to bringing injustice and social marginalization to the attention of Hong Kong’s youth so that they can communicate, cooperate and come up with creative solutions.

DiverCITY, through interactive forums, talks, conducting interviews and an opinion sharing platform, strives not only to bring to light social predicaments, but to empower the underrepresented in speaking their truth. Through active use of social media sites, we hope to reach a wider audience, in support of our mission.
